Please be advised that maintenance work is scheduled for July 15, 2026, on the forest road at Baldio do Pico (access to Casa da Montanha), to be carried out by the Pico Forestry and Land Use Planning Service. During the work, traffic disruptions may occur, and it may be necessary to close the road to general vehicle traffic.
From here you can schedule your climbs to Pico Island’s mountain, assuring your reservation and access.
It is recommended to climb through a qualified company, with an accredited mountain guide.
